[plug] Nautilus 2.6.3 (New behaviour?)

Debian testing.
I have just done an update of some gnome files including nautilus. I
pulled them from testing (well testing is my default dist) and Nautilus
is now 2.6.3 and seems to have had a behaviour change. It no longer has
a toolbar, address bar, side panel, or even the inline viewer (text,
picture...)
I really miss the old Nautilus and the new one reminds me of Windows
(opening all folders in a new window) and it seems really hard to use.
It also has a new desktop icon called Computer that is the root of all
your browsing unless using a shortcut to get straight to the location as
you can't type the address. It has a 'backtrack' kind of menu to allow
you to go up in the tree.
It seems really bad, any suggestions as to a fix? Am I missing something
or did Nautilus really 'go backwards'?
Tim
