Just a short note to thank all you guys who responded to my question on Myth Tv ( turns out mysql was the issue basically it was not connected DOHHH!!!!) and for answering my question on SMP, i appreciated the interest and responses.
I had heard a lot about the "spirit" of open source and after being a slave to Bills Bloatware decided to find out what all the fuss was about. I am very pleased that i made the move..
Thanks again everyone who helped out.
