Maybe you can reject articles that have a new subject, reference an
existing thread, but quote no text. Call it Mailman's Jackboot. :-)
OK... if you don't want to reject, then change the References and
In-Reply-To headers to X-DeReference X-NotIn-Reply-To respectively;
and see what happens.
