Hi PLUGgers
Here are the new rsync urpmi command lines for Mandrake 10.1:
urpmi.addmedia contrib
rsync://mirror.pacific.net.au::mandrake/devel/10.1/i586/media/contrib
with media_info/hdlist.cz
urpmi.addmedia plf rsync://rsync.planetmirror.com::plf/mandrake/10.1
with hdlist.cz
urpmi.addmedia main
rsync://mirror.pacific.net.au::mandrake/devel/10.1/i586/media/main with
media_info/hdlist.cz
Pacific.net is on WAIX but planetmirror is not.
If you want to upgrade your Mandrake to the newest without blowing the
whole system* do this:
Remove the old sources ---- urpmi.remove -a
Add the new sources above ---- urpmi.addmedia plf/contrib/main etc....
Then update the packages ---- urpmi --auto-select
Depending on your connection speed you can watch 1-3 movies of the Lord
of the Rings. I have a 2048/2048 and it took over an hour.
*You may anyway. Took me a while to get my scroll mouse working
(/etc/X11/xorg.conf). I have just got Evolution 2.0 working properly. I
don't like its lookout 2003 style either. I like my folder list taking
up the entire side!

2 Years Old
This month we are 2 years old. Over the last few weeks I compiled a few
photos so that I could remember where we came from.

Feel free to laugh at us. :)
New CD Prices
We have also dropped our CD prices to a new permanent low.
Mandrake 10.1 Community 4CD is $12.98
Debian Sarge 13CD is $49.99
Debian Sarge 2DVD with a DVDROM is $59.98

Media is very cheap nowadays and with 52X burners it is very quick, so
we felt we may as well drop the prices to be lower than everyone else.

Kind Regards
