If you're looking for using remote X for administration, it is my
opinion that you're going to be much better off starting individual
clients using ssh, using webmin, or learning how to perform the required
administration via the command line.

I'm not familiar with those tools - have you examined what command the
associated .desktop files actually run?

You can only have one XDMCP session per X server, so you will either
need to use Xnest or start a new server. Please note that you should not
need to kill Xnest - closing the window should do the job fine.

-indirect localhost

see "man Xserver" for details on these and other command line options
for X.
