ok, tonight as I gotta work today and it needs a bit of cleaning up

check out http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/dynfw.xml for some more
professional stuff.  I have not used these scripts - looked at them some
time back and they didnt quite do what I wanted, but they may suit
others.
