Looks like it might be a good idea to try.

In the readme.txt file it says:

Fix bugs and missing code in installer regarding database-support
detection. Insome cases, a blank screen would appear due to
function-call failure for non-existent features.  Also clarified some
other error messages that people have beenquestioning.  Also now
properly explains that a database couldn't be found, if indeed that is
the real error (and advises them to create it).
