 From memory pressing \ then typing some text and pressing enter will 
highlight all instances of the search term and take you to the next 
occurrence. By then pressing \, up, enter it will take you to the next 
instance. (Not sure if there is a shortcut but there probably is. Not 
sure if this is good enough for what you want. Else use VIM in read only 
viewer mode.
