Hi Rod

As a comparison, the first time I tried to install Suse from DVD, my dvd 
rom couldn't read the disc properly and wouldn't boot. I actually had to 
buy a new dvd drive. After that the install took about 15mins. Being my 
first install I probably didn't have enough packages selected :)

ps: Still bummed about missing the workshop. The b/f found out it was up 
2 flights of stairs :(
