re: IMAPd (on Debian)

As someone who was scared of courier IMAP due to the reports of
configuration complexity and ill-documentation, I was pleasantly
surprised at the ease of installation and config for a standard user
setup (not tuning it heavily or getting crafty with auth methods).  

I found dovecot just as easy to install and setup but it was lacking in
folder management for my requirements.

As for the rest, I use sendmail, so I'll stay out of it :)
