I haven't seen it on my own machines or with any of the users at work.
RH FC3 (evo 2.0.2), Debian Sarge (Evo 2.0.1?).

Tried tracing the program to see what's going on? You could probably
even rpmbuild --rebuild the evo RPMs with debugging enabled and attach
gdb when it spazzes out, see what you can figure out.
