[plug] [OT] Wireless imac on a linux network?

Hi,

I have a wireless network for my laptop (linux). Can I just buy a mac 
airport device and it will run on the network like any other wireless card. 
Are there any 'gotchas' with mac wireless? 

It's a D-Link access point that supports 802.11g as does the mac airport 
device.
