On that web page, is stated that the simplest way to join, is to turn up
to one of the meetings and speak to a committee member.
While the web site lists the members of the committee, on the contact
web page, there are no mugshots of the committee members (that I found)
on the web site.
In the olden days, the old PLUG web site used to have a committee page,
with mugshots of the committee members, so that they were easily
identifiable from a distance, for such things. Perhaps, consideration
could be given, to having such an inclusion in the web site, once
again...
A question about membership rates. Previously a suggestion had been
made, that an additional class of membership be introduced - a Family
class of membership, for example, to have three classes of personal
membershi - Individual $10, Concession $5, and Family $15. Did anything
come of that?
There also used to be (from memory) a class of membership, of Corporate
- used to cost about $50 (I think), for businesses with more than a
couple of people, or businesses that wanted (effectively) to put money
into PLUG. Out of curiosity, did that class of membership get deleted,
or is it just omitted from the web page above?
