Hi Ben,
I got it working today, more or less. I find that my FC4 box won't boot properly (freezes) if I boot it up with the network cable attached. I'm not sure why this is and I didn't have time to deal with it today. I just finish booting and do a service network restart. Anyway, I followed the instructions here:
http://pptpclient.sourceforge.net/howto-fedora-core-4.phtml
and used the ip address from here:
http://www.snap.uwa.edu.au/linux_setup_instructions.html
with the domain as "snap".
And I was up and running.
