6:30 Welcome & Weekly War Stories.

6:45 Meeting commences: this month presented & sponsored by SAGE-AU.

This month's topic is: Debian GNU/Linux, presented by Andrew Shugg.

Debian GNU/Linux is known as the "universal operating system"
and has enjoyed a great deal of success and popularity amongst
the free software & open source communities. Join Andrew S for
a look at the latest stable Debian release, find out what's
coming up in the next release, and take a test drive of the new
         multi-architecture graphical installer.

There will be some CDs (and even DVDs) given away on the night
so if you like collecting free stuff this is definitely not a
    meeting to miss. =)

7:30 Migration back to the Pub for beer, soft drinks, sandwiches,
Q&A, and General Discussion of current IT issues. (Even non-IT
    issues are okay.)

The Moon and Sixpence pub is located on Murray Street, between Queen
St and William St. It is within easy walking distance of the Busport
or Perth Train Station. If you are driving, Murray St is one way with
vehicle entry available from Milligan St. Parking is available from
one of several City of Perth carparks located along Murray St. (See
the maps at http://www.neep.com.au/first_wednesday/ for more info.)
