[plug] ADSL good news/ DEFault gateway

Try IP: 192.168.0.xxx,  gateway 192.168.0.1
failing that,
IP: 10.0.0.xx, gateway10.0.0.1

Generally speaking however DHCP should cover it all, unless theres an XP 
machine throwing bogon  packets into the network.
