A mate of mine is wanting to update a box, he seems set on a Sempron 2.4G. Anyone have any experience with this series of chip, with regards to Linux? Any drama/good experiences with the lower end [*read cheaper*] motherboards? One he is looking at is a Gigabyte, another I'd never heard of! He will likely be running PCLinuxOS or Mandrake, fwiw.
