[plug] Xorg - Large Swap

I just got back from a weekend away and had left my computer logged in
(was in the middle of working)
When I got back I moved the mouse, typed in my password (xscreensaver)
and Xorg promptly started using all available CPU. I killed it when it
got to 1.2Gb of Swap usage (as reported from top and free)
I have since disabled the Composite Extension (shadows?) and will see
how it goes.

Any other ideas for excessive swap?
