[plug] Problems with Sendmail

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the pointer. I did some research on the sendmail website and
found the information regarding the permissions, and everything appears to
be set correctly as per the documentation.

I tried using the RedHat Package Manager to uninstall and re-install
sendmail, however when I did this, the problems still persisted, so I'm
guessing that the problem is in a file that sendmail relies upon, but is not
necessarily part of the sendmail package.

Thanks

Richard

You have a permissions problem. Apache does not have permission to write to
the
mail spool. The webmail client may not be configured to use Sendmail.

Sendmail is good, but can be difficult to configure. You may have to think
in terms of
mail hubs and even consider a smart host configuration.

May I suggest going to the Sendmail web site for configuration/permissions
help.
