Email in archives (Was Re: [plug] mandrake)

Just jogged my memory. Does the plug archiving software obscure emails
in the body or just the header?
Also, I believe my email address is still in the archives due to it
being in my PGP signature or something. Any ideas how I can stop that?
Should I remove it from my PGP ID or should it stay?
