reiserfs only does metadata journalling, similar to ext3. My
understanding is that you should not get filesystem corruption if a
write is unexpectedly interrupted, but you MAY get data loss or
corruption.

ext3's data=journal mode, if it actually works now, might be interesting
- but probably rather slow.
