I really have had no issues with ext3 despite frequent power outs due to
WPC supply, a smoked up wall socket, and the landscape Gardner turning
the power out without asking when working on the bore pump. Add to this
I sometimes reboot the machine when something uses up all the cpu and I
can't wait for a virtual terminal to pop-up and let me type in some
commands at a snails pace.
Ext2 on the otherhand used to needed a severe fscking after every kernel
panic and would eventually corrupt itself stupid.
