[plug] Yoper 'speed up tricks'

I found a message in the archives where Senectus made a comment about 
how the Yoper distro uses some
shortcuts and cheats to make the distro feel very slick. That's not a 
direct quote, but you get the idea.

I was wondering what these tricks are and how they break some things 
like games and wine and others.
Just curious seeing as how I am using that distro and what I should be 
aware of if anything.
