Nah, its the LCD. You have to carefully match all the parameters to the
screen: if not exact, the software and/or the LCD try and interpolate
with sometimes terrible results. Keep in mind that things like remote
sessions, screen dumps and the like are not showing an LCD image, but
what is in a screen buffer, which may be several steps removed from what
your eyes are looking at on the LCD.

I still prefer a large, good CRT to the LCD's I have used. Yes they
look bright and seem clear - but after using them for awhile I find them
