My 1300 number is very similar to that of GE Capital finance.
Once my land line phone rang at 4-5am (I usually get up at about 8-9am)
and it was a lady from over east calling first thing in the morning. The
call went through to message bank and she then got my mobile number off
the message (which clearly stated Aptitude Technology) and called my
mobile asking if I was GE Capital finance.
I've had about 2-3 other people calling up looking for GE and as I pay
for the call (if its non-local) I end it very quickly. I also once got a
lady call up from Goulburn looking for HP support.
regards,
Chris
