Two questions to the list maintainer:

1/ the "reply address" for posting doesn't always fix itself at the
group's address - sometimes it's the poster's address, sometimes both
the group and the poster.  I often forget to check my "send to" and send
straight to the the poster instead of the group.
2/ In my preferences I've asked for confirmation email and to see a copy
of my own postings.  However, I never see my own postings - and there's
no filtering in my client affecting that my end.  I like to maintain an
intact local threaded view that gets out of whack if my own postings
don't come to me. 

I guess these are both concerned with the way the mailman app is set, so
is there any way to change that?  If it helps, the group's settings are
not unique, there are five other mail groups I belong to that use
mailman and only ONE of those truly responds by sending me a copy of my
own postings and replying ONLY to the group.  Sorry to give some extra
work to the hapless soul maintaining the list ;-)
