Unfortunately I can't help you with that method, but installing in
VMWare will give you the capability of taking screenshots of the
install. (This method is one of the most common methods of getting
screenshots of installations I know of).

You can download a 30 day trial from www.vmware.com and it will run on
Linux / Doze.
