My system always tells me that it fails bringing up eth0 because of
something funky with miitool for memory. If the card is functional when
the system is booted then ignore the message or you can disable miitool
support by adding the line "MII_NOT_SUPPORTED=yes"
in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
