Depends on the computer.  Most of the time, you can turn off keyboard
related errors (so the PC continues booting), or turn off keyboard check
altogether.  However, even after bios updates I haven't been able to get
various Compaq's doing the same thing (Deskpro EN & EL models)

Not possible to fool it in the BIOS?  I've seen this (keyboardless 
operation) in some IBM BIOS's.
