My only holden engines were in an old S2 SWB landrover - came with a 179
which seized during a 2yr strip down to the last nut&nolt rebuild.
Ended up with a 202, O/D, huge tyres, bright red and white. Fantastic
off-road (Geraldton area), but hopeless around town so ended up selling
it to my everlasting regret ...
These days the urge is restricted to finding old bits of PC's and
continually swapping bits around to get the best performance, tweaking
gentoo on them. Very similar in concept, and probably a lot safer than
the open road!
Guess this should go OT, but its kinda nice getting off track like this!
