[plug] not able to send e-mail, but can recieve

No listing in the directory nor in the file.  The setting mx2.amnet.net.au is the secondary mail server.  The relay = command is blank in main.cf, so its supposed to go straight out to the Internet vs to the ISP mail server (which they do not allow relaying).

It looks to me that it is still relaying. Try removing the relayhost
line from the file. You might also want to do a 'grep -R
mx2.amnet.net.au *' in the directory that contains the main.cf file to
see if another file is setting the relay host.
