Three words: Duracell Ultra M3 (the blue ones). They're specifically
made for these types of uses, I gather, and worked wonders for my A200
(ie. they last as long as you would think batteries _should_ last).
Even the Energizer E^2 ones didn't last any longer than "regular"
batteries...
