Have you investigated GnuCash, GK-Ledger, AccPac, etc?

Have you done a search on the words "Linux", "financial", and
"accounting"?
Your message does not include a statement indicating the distribution
that you are using. If you are using Debian or a Debian-based system,
have you tried searching in Synaptic, to see what is available via that?
