If wireless is okay I believe that Infusion in Plaza Arcade provides a 
wireless access point for free.  They don't have what I would call comfy 
chairs however but they make a great coffee.

Alternatively, Gloria Jeans in Murray St offer paid wireless access 
through Optus.
