My assumption was incorrect - the update did not work :

The command :

 [root at Boris ~]# rpm -qa | grep tzdata

gave the following result :
 
tzdata-2006b-1

But I had supposedly updated with :

tzdata-2006p-1.fc5.noarch.rpm 

So :

'tzdata-2006b-1' is not equal to 'tzdata-2006p-1'

Hence no update took place.

I need to get the public key for tzdata-2006p-1.fc5.noarch.rpm

Now I am confused.
