Discounting is the best way to ensure that you go broke.

You should have one rate and one rate only. It is your time that you are 
selling. It is not, and should not be, your concern who your client is. 
If they want you to do their work, this is how much it costs. They make 
the decision as to what they can afford, not you.

If you charge on the basis of what you think they can pay, in a very 
short time, you will have all the time in the world to sit back and 
reflect on what you should or should not have charged.

A very simple and basic rule of business.
