The one name that always comes to mind for PPC is
YellowDog. They can be found at
<http://www.yellowdoglinux.com> and the reviews at
<http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=yellowdog>.

A list of powerpc LiveCD implementations is here
<http://distrowatch.com/search.php?category=Live+CD&origin=All&basedon=All&desktop=All&architecture=powerpc&status=Active>
and of powerpc Desktops
<http://distrowatch.com/search.php?category=Desktop&origin=All&basedon=All&desktop=All&architecture=powerpc&status=Active>
of which there are quite a few ... including
YellowDog.

Regards,
Bruce.
