Fair enough then.  I was unaware they were standards compliant this
time.  If so, then unusual isn't a problem, I just thought it WAS a
semi-custom protocol that they'd tacked onto the DNS system.  Maybe
they're starting to get things right...  :)

At least it can actually be interfaced with though.  I'd hate to see
what'd happen otherwise!

In fairness to them, they had to use unusual (but actually
standards-compliant, AFAIK) DNS, or use their own entirely custom
protocol.

At least this way you can use standard DNS tools and systems to a large
extent.
