Adam,

It is still possible to tailor the print command - it's just a little 
more complicated. Enter 'about:config' in the address bar and you will 
get a more detailed configuration editor. Filter the list by typing in 
'print' and it will show print related options. The option you are 
looking at changing will most likely be <printer_name>.print_command.

Modifying this, I was able to redirect my print output to kprinter using 
the --stdin flag. Works a treat so I can't see why it would do the same 
for you.
