I called docep but they said speak to the TIO. I dealt with the TIO is
the past and they weren't particularly helpful.
When I signed up to Telstra Cable (I lived in Bateman). I found that I
couldn't retrieve my pop mail from an apana host. I turns out that apana
were using reverse DNS to validate connection attempts. Unfortunately
for my whoever configured Telstra's name-servers had stuffed up and used
a hyphen '-' instead of a period '.'. As a result the forward and
reverse lookups didn't match. It took three months and countless phone
calls to get that fixed.
