[plug] nvidia drivers slow on etch

Hi Innis,just for the exercise I have installed Etch from the current
deb installer,to another machine with a non-nvidia video card.

Surprisingly glxgears was not installed and apparently is only available in
unstable.

Debian does strange things at times:-))-- I'll go switch to unstable to see
if an upgrade brings glxgears to life.
