[plug] Firefox/Thunderbird problem with Mandriva 2006 still unresolved

Thanks Russell, i don't have ethereal (or tethereal) but will download and try 
to compile - tomorrow!  Meanwhile will disable firewall and try again as 
suggested by Gavin - two clues to follow up - thanks.
