[plug] Internet domains

I have an incling as to what the normal domain tlds mean,
eg .org, .com, .net - but I've been looking at getting a domain, and I
see others like 
.us
.info
.name
.biz
.tv
.ws
.cc
.bz

Can anybody point me to somewhere where I can see what these are
supposed to be used FOR?
