Almost all Free software is already available in native (64-bit) AMD64
builds, since other architectures have been 64-bit for much longer than
standard consumer hardware has, and it is generally just a matter of
recompiling things.  One notable exception is Openoffice, which still
needs to be run under 32-bit "emulation" (which isn't really emulation
since it runs at the same speed it would on a native 32-bit system).
