in  initrd-2.6.16.16.img in the lib directory there is
ext3.ko  jbd.ko  megaraid.ko  mptbase.ko  mptscsih.ko  scsi_mod.ko 
sd_mod.ko

I think this is waht should be there (but am not really sure).
