    • Minimum 5 years of development experience or 3 yrs experience post tertiary qualification in a related discipline

    • Experience working in a team environment

    • Considerable experience programming with Perl

    • Experience using SQL

    • Experience in all stages of the SDLC

    • Experience with Python, Java, C++ as well as an understanding of billing systems and the finance sector would be advantageous although not essential.

Judging by the fact they require 5 years experience (what I'd call a professional), I'd except a minimum of $60,000-70,000, and 60 might be a little conservative. That would only grow further depending on exactly how much experience they wanted in the financial sector, and experience with Perl, Java, C++ and Python.

In my current position, I'm no where near the salaries quoted, and I might be expecting too much, but I'd say that’s more than reasonable for a minimum.
