Hello All,

This one has me stumped.

I am running debian unstable with Xfce4 window manager and I have
upgraded (apt-get update && apt-get upgrade) recently. On doing this I
tried running some windows applications under wine (which were working
fine before the upgrade..) and they still run, however, there is no text
at all in the application. All menus, toolbars, text boxes etc are all
blank. Menus still have underlines for the shortcut letters, but nothing
displays.

The imageS above ARE an example of an application (Slotman - slot car
manager) The "Buttons" in the middle should have text next to them.
On the second image, all the buttons are missing text as are the
various labels around the screen. The menus across the top left corner
have the "underlines" but there is no text. The black box in the corner
is where I had the menu open, but the Xfce screenshot application
obviously didn't "see" the menu and captured the windows in the
background instead so just ignore that bit.

Suffice to say that the menu looks fine, however, there is no text!
just underlines.

Its amazing how much you rely on text for making your way around an
application.

I have tried googling but have not had anything meaningful come up.
"wine missing text fonts text labels" etc in various combinations does
not seem offer any advice.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and Regards,
