The problem seems to be related to the "winecfg" program. This seems to
add a stack of "font" entries in the system.reg and user.reg files. I
am not exactly sure which part of the font entries causes it but
something in there. I have deleted my .wine folder and c:\ folders and
am starting again as its about time I cleaned up my wine folders
anyway (several broken programs etc installed in there...)
