Just found this thread again.

Have folks contacted Crikey about this yet? 

Crikey is read by politicians pretty much religiously (and usually in
fear), and pretty much is 
Based on the the independent-media model of user contributed articles.

Also, if theres any scandal involved (bullshirting politicians) , inside
cover is a good bet as well.

Why don't we, as a group, draft this communication and have the
president send it to the relevant person.

There are a number of people on the list that have been actively
involved in communicating with the people responsible for this and they
will need to help in constructing the communication.
