[plug] Beryl and Laptops

Hi,

I've been using Beryl recently with Ubuntu 6.06, on my Compaq Presario
laptop.

Just recently (I think with a Beryl upgrade), when using the laptop on
battery power, Beryl flakes out and the window border around any window
flashes on and off. As well, opening any program (even a terminal), takes
far too long...

I can't seem to figure out why - using the laptop with mains power,
everything works fine.

Any ideas?
